PVF

Potomac Vegetable Farms (PVF) is owned and operated by three farmers on two “ecoganic” farms in Northern Virginia.

Owners and farmers, Hiu Newcomb, and daughter Hana, grow vegetables at PVF’s original farm and roadside stand on Leesburg Pike in Vienna, VA. Ellen Polishuk manages their production farm in Purcellville, MD. For over 9 years they have offered summer and fall CSA (community supported agriculture) shares and sell at many farmers markets in the DC area.

This is our 3rd season with PVF. In 2008, we received the summer and fall shares in Alexandria, VA. Last summer (2009), we became members of their summer worksite CSA share and received a fabulous bag of produce delivered directly to Rex’s work every Thursday afternoon. This summer, we will be receiving the summer share at Rex’s work on Tuesday afternoons. Every week I will update this page to share information about our weekly bounty, meal plan, and recipes.
